About me
I was born in Turin (Northern Italy) on the 14th September 1962 and graduated in Economics at Turin University with a thesis in industrial statistics. After 11 years working as a Data Base Manager in a direct marketing company, I decided to devote myself to data protection consultancy. Why? The answer is: for sheer passion. I have been working since 1998 as a consultant specialised in national and international data protection legislation. I offer my service to any field of activity: from companies to not-for-profit organisations and assistance services, public bodies and professional studies so that they can comply with the GDPR and other national and international legislation governing data protection, suggesting practical and operative solutions, having first assessed personal data processing operations carried out and got knowledge of their specific business activity, organisation and needs. I provide legal interpretation of laws and regulations and give advice on procedures and processes appropriate to be compliant with the GDPR. I give training courses at the offices of the clients or sponsored by companies and specialised organisations (both private and public); I take part as a speaker at conferences, congresses and events. I have written three books on data protection: the first (three editions) dedicated to the legislation on the whole, the second devoted to not-for-profit organisations (two editions) and the third is a user guide for accounting professionals (two editions). I am also specialised in Consumer Code and in legislation for the protection of copyright and neighbouring rights and industrial rights. I give advice on sweepstakes and contests. I am adjunct professor at Bologna University – at Forlì subsidiary – and I have taught in masters for not-for-profit organisations. In addition, I have taught in masters for public bodies at the University of Eastern Piedmont.
